Kayla Whitmore, DO

About Kayla

Dr. Kayla Whitmore was raised in a small farming community in Vermont. She completed her undergraduate degree in the ‘Big City’ of Burlington VT, and then left the Green Mountain State for medical school at Des Moines University.  She spent 4 years in the Midwest and greatly missed the mountains. While studying for her board exams she took a trip to Glacier National Park and knew she needed to move to Montana. She was accepted to the Family Medicine Residency program in Kalispell, where her training helped to prepare her for a career in rural health care. She joined the MVMC medical team in the Fall of 2022 and has enjoyed being the “Lady Doctor” for our community.

Outside of clinic you can catch her at the library grabbing the latest best-seller, working out at the gym, or out in the mountains with her dogs.
